Your job.

We are looking for a Department Coordinator to assist in daily operations of the Content Operations team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Content Operations team internally as well as via collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will facilitate work across departments by ensuring collaboration, communication and visibility on projects as well as improving processes.  

You have excellent communication skills and can work independently, prioritize tasks, coordinate projects between various departments and provide other general support as needed.  


  • New hire on-boarding - Manage coordination of new hire on-boarding by establishing and updating training schedules, and ensuring desk assignment and setup and tool access.

  • Team Goal and Performance Review Streamlining - Organize timelines and coordinate sessions among managers and individual contributors for quarterly self-evaluations, performance reviews, goal setting, and compensation planning

  • Roadmaps - Manage coordination of departmental and cross-team roadmap planning process and scheduling

  • Special Event Coordination and Planning - Responsible for researching and planning off-sites and team events with a regular cadence, soliciting feedback ahead of and after events and iterating on the feedback for future planning.

  • Team Engagement - Work anniversaries, birthdays, special recognition for life or work events are all components of what makes our team culture fantastic. Keeping up with the management of these events for a large team is important, and you will be the go-to resource for this.

  • Feedback and Action - Soliciting feedback with regularity from the team on different perks or activities and actioning on this feedback will be part of this role. Analyzing the feedback and providing high level takeaways to management and the team will also be included.

  • General Administrative Support - There are a variety of tasks that will be associated with this role, that include but are not limited to data cleanup, calendar and document auditing and streamlining, group access administration for team on-boards and departures, resolving employee pain points, etc.

About you.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years in a corporate role managing office operations/logistics

  • Must be deadline focused, organized and able to prioritize multiple projects

  • Strong project management skills; Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA and documentation tools such as Confluence preferred

  • Proficient with G. Suite including Gmail, Google Drive and Google Docs

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Advanced oral, written and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive
