Your job.

As a Business Intelligence Senior Manager at Indeed, you will have a direct impact on the business by partnering with Business Functions and leading teams to deliver reporting and analytic needs. You focus on understanding business priorities and foster an environment where your team works and empower stakeholders with data and solutions. You understand that the best managers coach their teams, remove roadblocks, and provide guidance and support for the team’s success. You have delivered challenging technical solutions. You have led business intelligence teams and earned the respect of talented analysts. You are equally happy talking algorithms and data structures as you are brainstorming about topics such as business opportunities and career development. You want to be in the mix technically while providing leadership to your teams. As our organization grows, you will help ensure we keep the talent bar high, and grow the skills and capabilities of our team.


  • Provide technical leadership and team management for business intelligence team(s) who define and building reports, dashboards, and analytical models

  • Understand stakeholder priorities and have a framework for measuring, monitoring, and managing the work that your team does to support these priorities

  • Engage and provide input into strategic discussions and decision making with your stakeholders, your function, and Indeed

  • Help boost company performance through revenue or efficiency gains, as a result of your team’s efforts

  • Learn and understand Indeed’s data, and processes

  • Ensure that your team is supporting priorities properly aligned to business needs

  • Collaborate with BI leaders across Indeed to drive business performance locally and globally

  • Empower members of your team to grow their skillset and advance their career goals

About you.


  • 5-10 years experience managing and leading BI teams

  • Experience leading cross functional teams to deliver business value through data

  • Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders at a wide range of seniority levels

  • Experience analyzing high volumes of data for multiple purposes in a dynamic environment

  • Track record in driving a data driven culture across business units

  • Ability to simultaneously manage large projects and manage rapid delivery of requests

  • Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

  • Strong ability to coach team members, helping them improve their skills and grow their careers

  • Experience with business intelligence reporting tools

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
