The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 92,000 - 120,000 USD per year

Your job.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract negotiation and execution with new vendors and work

  • with the legal, finance and stakeholders for timely executions of contracts

  • Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities

  • Identify and evaluate business risks in contracts and advise the business owner of their performance obligations to mitigation said risk

  • Support day to day procurement functions such as operational (PO) process execution, new vendor onboarding, renewing contracts, review and approve purchase requisitions, etc.

  • Develops and facilitates the evaluation of Request for Proposals (RFP’s) through a cross-functional team and quote packages to ensure the establishment of qualified support, in order to deliver an efficient, high quality service to meet Business Unit objectives

  • Coaching and training internal stakeholders on procurement processes, advises on contract requirements, corporate policies and procurement procedures. Act as a point of contact for general procurement issues such as queries related to Invoices, POs, eForms etc. within the relevant portfolio of projects

About you.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering or Technology)

  • MBA degree in Supply Chain or Operations or Technology preferred

  • 5+ years of procurement experience in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering or other closely related field

  • Ability to handle multi-million dollar complex negotiation deals required

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and contract management needed

  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills necessary

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • High level of attention to detail essential

  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with SAP or any ERP system. eSourcing and Contract Management software desired
