The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

New York City Metro Area Base Salary Range: 200,000 - 300,000 USD per year

Your job.

The Chief of Staff role will support our Chief Revenue Officer in leading the global Sales and Client Success teams at Indeed.  This role will serve as a Business Operations & Strategy consultant to the senior leader and in support of the team.

You are an influencer.  You know how to get things done in a matrix organization by building critical relationships with senior leaders to help drive the overriding vision, strategy and strategic priorities for the company.  You can project manage, cross-functionally and seamlessly.

You are a data detective.  You know how to mine, extract and use data to tell a story and influence decision making.  You're a hunter of the truth, and seek innovative ways of identifying metrics and KPI to assist in guiding the senior leaders in developing and executing strategy.


You are comfortable challenging the “status quo”, and are driven by efficiency.

You thrive in a fast paced environment.  You have the unique ability to move from strategy to tactical execution seamlessly.  You excel in managing conflicting priorities. You're organized, efficient and thorough. You’re adaptable, and thrive as much in ambiguity as you do working closely with a team.

You are experienced.  You pride yourself on a career with increasing responsibility, having learned and mastered what it takes to grow a business.  You have opinions and share feedback in an honest, constructive manner. You're a dynamic change agent who is able to pivot, as well as effectively communicate change.

Additional Experience:

  • MBA preferred

  • 2+ years Strategic Management Consulting

  • Sales / Client Success experience
