Your job.

Indeed is seeking a Sales Product Communications Specialist in Austin to join its growing Sales Product team.


This business-critical function supports Sales by developing and executing dynamic and strategic internal product-driven communications, partnering with key stakeholders within Sales and across other departments to collaborate and streamline communications, developing resources for Sales to better understand new and existing products and processes, and collecting and managing product-related feedback from Sales.


The Sales Product Communications Specialist will report to the Director, Sales Product, and will work closely with other leaders within Sales and throughout Indeed to develop and implement communication strategies.


We are looking for a strategic thinker with proven communication skills and technical ability. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer with a creative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities.


About you.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling communications and resources, drive awareness of key initiatives and product updates, and inspire Sales to take action

  • Be familiar with and track all product updates, changes and tests that could affect Sales or our clients

  • Create new, better ways of collecting feedback from Sales

  • Analyze and present feedback gathered to identify opportunities and priorities

  • Create, update, maintain, and promote a knowledge base for Sales

  • Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning to ensure client and team communications are compelling and aligned with our desired tone

  • Partner with other teams and departments to streamline communications and ensure that Sales receives engaging and consistent information

  • Monitor information trends on internal mail groups and wiki pages; disperse and update information to relevant teams as necessary

  • Participate in specific technology and product-related projects, as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field

  • Proven track record developing and executing effective communications

  • Highly creative writer experienced in crafting compelling, engaging messaging

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to interact with and influence team members

  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear and concise communications

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Tech-savvy

  • 1-2 years of Sales experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with an online CRM/Salesforce preferred

  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities

  • Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally; must be a strong team player
