As a Content Planning Senior Analyst, you will support the Search Quality Operations Communications and Learning and Development teams through supporting the creation and implementation of a content strategy on our Web-based platforms. These communications target a variety of audiences including: Indeed employees, job seekers and employers.
In this role, you’ll define which digital assets will help us to most effectively get our message across (e.g. infographics, video, e-learning modules) and where to house these assets (i.e. an existing platform or new platform). You will also help to identify and collaborate with key cross-departmental internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing and Product team members) to support implementing our strategy, including existing platform enhancements or new platform development, as well as digital assets creation. You will also draft and edit Search Quality related-content to ensure it’s clear, compelling, adheres to a consistent “easy-to-understand” style and effectively distributed across all relevant internal and external platforms. Additionally, you’ll help us track user engagement metrics and propose ideas for improvements.
The ideal candidate for this role - focused on both content strategy and hands-on writing and editing for primarily digital communications - will possess excellent written communication skills and an open, collaborative attitude. This is a new role on the team, and you will have the opportunity to help shape it.
Support the development of a content strategy, including collaborating with internal teams to:
Develop and manage editorial calendars for our external-facing (targeting employers and job seekers) content
Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Ensure existing content is accurate/updated
Suggest and drive implementation of digital content enhancements (e.g. infographics, video, e-learning module) for optimal engagement
Maintain and update each website platform's Content Management System
Adhere to Indeed’s style guide
Draft, edit and proofread copy
Align SEO and keyword requirements to audience needs
Research user feedback and analyze website traffic and content engagement using website data and UX research studies
Act as the expert on all things Search Quality
BA in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, English, Library Science or other relevant field and 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience
Experience within the content strategy domain
Working knowledge of Content Management Systems and data analysis tools
Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools
Excellent writing, editing and interpersonal communication skills
Self starter, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Adept at time management and able to quickly assess priority of tasks/projects and adjust accordingly
Experience analyzing user feedback and applying to content strategies
Experience with A/B testing
