Your job.

As the content user research analyst, you will work closely with the product teams to find out what matters the most to Job Seekers and Employers to improve the customer experience in a fast paced agile environment.

About you.

You will deep dive into some employers and job seeker segments to understand how can Indeed.com add value to those users through user generated content. You will employ varied research methods such as fieldwork, online research, interviews, contextual inquiries, usability studies, remote studies, prototyping and surveys. Your ability to effectively create screening criteria, recruit research participants, build rapport, and moderate studies will be highly desirable.Your research will be agile, keeping pace with the rapid innovation in the product teams. 

Our teams move fast and iterate continually. You will be right there with them - but you will also find time to zoom out and ask the big questions that change the course of these programs, or cause us to build entirely new ones. You will interact daily with product managers, designers, engineers and your research peers to understand and guide the team’s research needs, including designing and conducting research activities. 

This is a very hands on position where you will have the opportunity to use your creativity to find answers to the business questions the product teams are trying to answer.This is a 6 month project with the possibility to extend into a permanent role. 

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or a background in HCI/HCD
  • Creative and self driven that can work with little supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional behavioral data-collection and analysis skills
  • Past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: study plans, reports)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail/E-commerce research experience
  • International research experience
