Members of the Legal Team work closely with multiple departments within the organization, such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, HR and IT, to review legal issues and implement decisions in order to get internal teams the tools and products they need to get their job done, while mitigating risk and exposure to the company. We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate Counsel - Contracts to join our team in Indeed’s Dublin offices. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts and protecting Indeed when it sells its products and services and enters into various collaboration initiatives. Under the direction of the Division Counsel, you will review, negotiate, revise, and administer contracts between Indeed and its clients or other parties and provide legal administrative and contracts support to the Sales organisation. In this role, you will write and review contracts from many angles at once and draft them in clean, precise, and direct language. You will also be required to learn, understand, and stay up to date with Indeed’s full suite of product offerings and initiatives, and the legal terms and issues associated with each. You are tech-savvy, possess strong project management and interpersonal skills, and are comfortable working with people all over the world. We are seeking a self-starter who thrives in a fun but results-oriented work environment and is passionate about problem-solving and getting the deal done while showing great attention to detail.
Review and draft revenue, collaboration and license agreements
Negotiate contract terms with Indeed clients or other parties through document redlines or conference calls
Manage the contract life cycle, including drafts, modifications, amendments and renewals
Work closely with Indeed Contracts Analysts, who manage the queue of contract requests from the Stakeholder teams
Work closely with the Sales team on contract requests
Work closely with the Product Attorneys, Product team, Finance and other stakeholders to understand and stay abreast of Indeed’s product offerings and initiatives
Work closely in the negotiation and drafting of applicant tracking system integration, application programming interface and data licensing agreements.
Contribute in contract negotiations involving privacy, data retention, PII and other risk mitigation efforts involving sensitive data.
Work in close partnership with various other departments such as Accounting, Finance, Product, Corporate Development, Alliances, Engineering, International Business Operations and others, to help identify and answer legal needs.
Act as the point of contact for all EMEA and APAC revenue contract items and advise leadership of contractual rights and obligations as well as legal risks and business terms of various deals
Qualified lawyer with at least 3+ years post qualified experience
Minimum of 2 years of contract review experience
Deep understanding of corporate and contract law, especially as they pertain to tech and internet companies
Flexible, well-organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced internet and technology environment
Ability and desire to work independently and with little oversight is a must
Provide decisive, accessible and clearly communicated advice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
