Your job.

As a member of Indeed’s expanding global communications organization, this position will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing all elements of a comprehensive corporate social responsibility strategy that supports Indeed’s mission of helping people get jobs. The successful candidate will have strong management experience either in the corporate social responsibility or non-profit worlds, demonstrated leadership experience building teams and functions, and a proven track record of driving change across an organization and leading cross-functional initiatives with senior level stakeholders.

About you.


  • Develop a corporate social responsibility strategy that aligns with Indeed’s mission, goals, and culture

  • Build consensus among C-level stakeholders on program focus

  • Scale the program globally -- both team and function

  • Oversee current CSR activities

  • Establish and oversee global, national, regional, and local partnerships with nonprofit and third-party organizations that align with Indeed’s overall goals

  • Align CSR program with Indeed’s future vision and goals and with labor market trends

  • Engage employees in the mission and vision of the corporate CSR program

  • Work with communications colleagues to highlight efforts internally and externally to further build Indeed brand awareness and increase employee engagement

  • Track and measure success of corporate social responsibility efforts


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Prior experience leading and scaling a CSR program or non-profit organization

  • Demonstrated leadership experience -- building and scaling teams and functions

  • Prior experience working closely with and influencing C-level executives

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with superb ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling messaging

  • Strong project management experience

  • Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence across all levels and functions

  • Prior experience operating effectively in a highly matrixed, flat organizational structure

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Sense of humor appreciated
