Your job.

The Data and Reporting Analyst is part of the Business Operations & Strategy team focusing on Indeed Prime. Indeed Prime is a job seeker marketplace that matches and connects top companies with active, vetted technical talent with the skills and experience they need.

The Data and Reporting Analyst is an internal facing role that is committed to assisting our Operations, Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Talent Services teams. This individual will work closely with different team members on Prime and other teams throughout the greater Indeed to gather the necessary data and organize into a valuable format.

The Data and Reporting team will focus on specific projects that will ultimately increase efficiency for all teams. This includes querying and organizing data, creating static and dynamic reports, providing ad hoc research and analysis, and being all around data-driven problem solvers.


  • Build, scale and maintain dashboards and reports for various Prime teams

  • Create dynamic reports using internal tools that can be run in real time

  • Perform ad hoc research and analysis projects

  • Perform statistical analysis of campaigns and other company initiatives

  • Able to synthesize data and research into clear and concise proposals for stakeholders

  • Support data requests and queries, as needed

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, Client Services, and other teams to inform decisions through meaningful data deliverables.

  • Provide data analysis and support to expedite workflows, automate processes, and  improve the precision of manual processes where needed.

  • Document all data and reporting processes

  • Mentor associates and other junior team members.  

  • Support the development of training materials including documenting new processes.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes post-implementation to ensure continued efficacy and impact.

About you.


  • Bachelor's degree with quantitative coursework (e.g., Economics, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience

  • 3+ years of work experience in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Marketing, Consulting, or related teams

  • Working experience with SQL and Python. Other programming languages used data manipulation also a plus.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong team player, able to work closely with and gain respect across functions/teams

  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to distill complex and diverse business problems into simple, effective solutions (commercial, operational, organizational)

  • Client service mentality, adaptability and willingness to collaborate openly with other functions

  • Proficiency with Google Sheets

  • Project management skills and experience with process evaluation and design

  • Experience with fast-paced, data-driven business model
