Design Operations is a team of operations and program management professionals responsible for connecting teams, enhancing communications, and serving as the glue for UX teams around the world. Our charter is to Empower, Educate and Engage our user experience teams to do the best work of their lives.
We work with product, interaction, visual, and brand designers, design technologists, content writers, and UX researchers across the globe. We’re big-picture thinkers who know how to get things done. We make incremental improvements each day, but also take big, innovative leaps to move our teams forward. We lead design for Indeed’s core job search experience. We’re shipping the company’s first design system. We’re piloting new native experiences. Everything we do comes back to crafting experiences that are human, empathetic, hopeful, and trusted as the world’s #1 job search site becomes an even more meaningful partner in the worklife of people everywhere.

Your strategic impact within your first year.
You’ll help to build and establish the design program management discipline at Indeed, leading the strategic planning process with design leaders and fostering design culture through planning and facilitating design sprints. You’ll act as a connection point to enable stronger inter-team communications.
Facilitate design sprints and workshops for global teams across Indeed.
Develop a facilitator training program on how to facilitate and run successful design sprints.
Create and maintain a library of Design Sprint activities that teams can use.
Create a Design Thinking toolkit that can be used and implemented by Product and Engineering teams to foster the design thinking methodology.
Develop feedback and quality assurance loops, ensuring that programs meet focused goals and achieves the established objectives.
Build impactful relationships and serve as a dependable point of contact across the UX organization and cross-functional partners.
You have experience with global brands and/or world-class agencies:
5+ years of project/program management experience
4+ years of Agile experience.
Self-motivated, flexible individual
User Experience background is required
Ability to build relationships across organizations, both within the immediate UX team and throughout the company with all necessary stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate efficiently with multiple teams (Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing).
Agile experience is required. SCRUM master certification is a plus.
