The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 160,000 - 232,000 USD per year

Your job.

The Director of HR Analytics is responsible for planning and executing reporting and analytics activities for HR. You will lead a team responsible for conducting detailed statistical analysis of HR data to identify actionable insights.


About you.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an internal consulting team that develops insights into business and operational opportunities through data driven analysis

  • Partner with the HR leadership team to understand business challenges and develop measures to engage perceived opportunities

  • Report on people related metrics critical to the successful management of Indeed’s business

  • Identify appropriate statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights

  • Merge data from multiple sources/systems and provide ad-hoc reporting when needed

  • Proactively address business gaps or opportunities identified through analytics

  • Leverage internal HR and Talent Attraction/Recruiting data using internal tools, systems, and data sources

  • Ability to summarize, present findings and provide recommendations to varying levels of the organization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or relevant work experience

  • 10+ years experience working with HR data and HR databases for reporting and analytics

  • 2+ years experience managing people

  • Workday experience preferred

  • Experience delivering data and insights within a business environment with proven ability in using data to drive action

  • Statistical analysis and data visualization capabilities using tools such as Excel, Access, SPSS, R, Tableau

  • Outstanding consultative abilities, combined with a track record of having built effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels

  • Ability to work in a project based environment with aggressive deadlines

  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent priorities simultaneously

  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy; ability to thrive in dynamic, fast paced

  • Experience with Google Suite preferred
