The International Strategy and Operations team is a division of the Finance department devoted to leading projects that drive Indeed's global expansion. Our team works closely with multiple departments within the organization, and collaboration is essential to our ability to make an impact. We strive to excel on our strong analytical competencies, our detailed knowledge of the product, and our ability to build and maintain strong business relationships to help us achieve our goals.
Indeed is looking for a Director to join our team in Dublin to help define and drive strategy for International Markets. You will be a leader with significant experience of delivering strategic and operational results in an international environment.
This role will require international travel.
Working with existing Strategy & Operations team in defining strategy for a series of international markets culminating in buy-in of stakeholders in the strategy . This will require collaboration with colleagues across multiple functions in preparing and reviewing analysis and projections that support, validate, or challenge the strategy.
Leading planning processes across various planning cycles - for example managing revenue & headcount planning for future fiscal years, providing input on marketing strategy via quarterly investment planning, and long term business planning. This should lead to preparation of annual OKRs served by quarterly and annual roadmaps of projects that serve to execute on the strategic plans set out.
Ensuring operations run smoothly and consistently - this will require working closely with our central teams on a number of processes (including forecasting across revenue, traffic, and profitability) and liaising with core Indeed teams on various site operations topics
Coordinating analysis and requests across markets that overlap with internal central priority areas which are led by a number of GMs. This will require partnership with other Strategy & Operations Directors and relevant GM teams.
Supporting the VP of INTL Strategy & Operations with strategy across the various markets - this will require preparing data driven presentations and financial models.
Facilitating and leading meetings with senior stakeholders to build consensus and drive decisions.
This role may, in time, require management of a team of direct reports
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar - MBA and/or CFA and/or accounting qualification a plus.
Minimum 10+ years of related experience - strong preference for related experience in technology or Finance - familiarity with online marketing and online recruitment/HR tech preferred.
Experience of managing a P&L.
Financial modeling experience and proficiency with Excel is required - experience of Tableau & SQL is a plus. We are looking for an individual who can lead by example and support creating the analysis and presentations.
Prior people management experience required - experience managing an international team preferred.
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
