Your job.

Indeed Hire is a recruiting service for employers. Employers pay a contingency fee to Indeed when Indeed Hire recruiters find, qualify, and present the candidate the employer hires for their job requisition. As Director of Business Operations for Indeed Hire, you will be responsible for managing a team to support the business from an operational and strategic planning perspective.


About you.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Directly manages a Business Operations team, and has earned their respect. Uses data to measure results, manage performance, identify opportunities, and influence the team and senior leadership.

  • Operational excellence: Executes quickly and efficiently. Hands on when required, but constantly striving to reduce inefficiencies and manual overhead. Removes operational barriers to team success.

  • Strategy: Develops insights and recommendations on key strategic questions, including the expansion strategy and execution plan. Backs recommendations with competitive, data and strategic analysis.

  • Data Analysis: Hands-on with the data, leverages data to develop operational insights, and backs recommendations and decisions with data. Develops projection models and headcount forecasts, budgets, and helps set business and team targets. Monitors forecasts vs actual to identify and address opportunities to collaborate cross functionally to achieve goals.

  • Collaboration: Drives operational alignment across Hire teams and key Hire stakeholders, including recruiting, product, sales, client support, finance, marketing, and internal recruiting.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of total work experience.  The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting, investment banking, PE, and/or VC, as well as operating experience at a tech or recruiting company

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Sound business judgment and strategic thinking

  • Excellent Excel and modeling skills; SQL experience a strong plus

  • High EQ and ability to build strong relationships throughout the organization

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication

  • Exceptional organization skills with high attention to detail
