The Director of Marketing Operations will be a proactive leader within the Marketing team who will drive continuous improvement through programs with cross-functional teams to modernize the performance of our global marketing organization and improve the quality of our employee experience.
You will lead the team to identify ways to improve key marketing operations, processes and workflows to enhance overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Define the Marketing Operations vision, strategy, systems and analytics
Coordinate quarterly and monthly executive management deliverables
Work in partnership with functions to identify key projects to improve marketing employee experience and then help build operational plans to execute against these opportunities
Manage the Marketing Operations team to ensure effective relationships with key partners to develop and maintain on-boarding, training and development plans that create a strong sense of community within Marketing
Coordinate monthly executive management deliverables and reporting to senior leadership at Indeed
Work closely with our HR Business Partners to constantly improve our recruiting processes, performance reviews, calibration and resourcing prioritization
Partner with leaders in marketing and across the organization to define, socialize and implement a planning framework for hiring standards, career progression and skill development
Drive and track adoption of new systems and processes for quarterly and annual strategic planning
Partner with HR to ensure the department-wide performance review processes are delivered and communicated as effectively as possible
Build and maintain exceptional relationships with other key functional areas (Business Intelligence, Product, Procurement, Sales, Legal, Finance, etc.) to ensure we are implementing the best available resources to focus on our biggest challenges
Create common infrastructure and capabilities around reporting and planning to get things done efficiently and effectively
Minimum of seven years of marketing operations experience. Experience in the consumer technology sector or consultancy preferred
Ability to independently manage multiple operational disciplines/priorities/projects for yourself as well as those delegated to team members
Ability to assimilate and filter through detailed information, make appropriate procedural decisions and know when to escalate issues to senior level management
Experience working across multiple functions and business units in a global organization; influencing and collaborating with others to successfully implement programs
Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a leaning towards decisiveness and iteration
