Your job. is seeking a Marketing Director to lead marketing efforts for Prime, Indeed’s candidate sourcing solution.  The ideal candidate will be ready to roll up their sleeves in a “startup like” environment to test, measure and iterate on marketing programs.

The Marketing Director will drive strategy and a marketing roadmap as well as manage and execute the various marketing efforts to support hitting growth goals for Indeed Prime. You will help determine product / market fit and scalability through rapid testing across a mix of marketing channels, content, and targeting. You will also help guide the product strategy by critically thinking through the customer experience, value proposition and messaging. You will work very closely with product leader and other cross-functional teams, as well as internal marketing teams to deliver quality results.

The marketing director will manage a marketing budget and campaign execution as well as track performance and be responsible for meeting product growth goals.

About you.

  • Lead the marketing function at an “internal startup” within a fast growing company

  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns that successfully engage businesses and technical job seekers

  • Forecast, track, and manage marketing budget, spend, as well as key funnel metrics

  • Direct consumer and B2B positioning, messaging and audience segmentation leveraging market and competitive research

  • Develop appropriate content including presentations, sales materials, case studies, blog posts, and social media.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from different functional areas to achieve common goals

  • Partner with Product team to develop product strategy and consider risks, costs, and tradeoffs


  • Experience leading a marketing function and team

  • Track record of growing and scaling businesses or functions

  • Excellent knowledge of various marketing channels including digital and offline media, PR and events

  • Data-driven and goal-oriented; experience using testing to iterate and improve yield and scale of marketing programs

  • Strong analytical skills (e.g. working knowledge of SQL or similar language) and problem solving skills

  • Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships cross functionally
