The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 19.71 - 24.52/hr USD

If you are passionate about improving the developer’s lives, by improving communication, and by helping clear away challenges, Indeed is looking for you. When you come to work at Indeed, you’ll be working with a smart and diverse team of problem solvers who exhibit high energy, deep technical skills and a drive to get things done. As part of a small collaborative team from engineering, operations, and product management, you will work on improving the internal infrastructure for engineering teams by answering common questions, improving documentation, and working with engineers and operations to resolve internally reported issues.


  • Answer questions about your product from an audience with a diverse technical background 

  • Work with a team of developers to help them understand the issues faced by their customers

  • Review issues and document replication steps

  • Assist developers and others in resolving issues

  • Update, maintain and improve documentation

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a desire to help developers solve their problems

  • Can analyze, debug and fix problems and improve processes

  • Loves to learn and develop new skills continuously

  • Has a strong sense of ownership in every application they support

  • Can communicate complex ideas to an audience with a diverse technical background

About you.


  • Minimum 1 year experience working with a software development team in a support role

  • Familiarity with distributed systems and basic networking concepts

  • Linux experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Java or Go

  • Experience with any of the following AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos
