The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Seattle Base Salary Range:140,000 - 180,000 USD per year

In this role, you will be focused on program growth and customer retention. You will be helping shape and define the vision for what true value means to current and future Featured Employers and building a digital product that truly delights our Employers. You will understand what products drive the highest engagement and how those are presented so that Employers make the most of Indeed’s suite of hiring products.

You will be empowered to set ambitious goals for your team which should inspire and motivate them to think big. The goals should be simple to understand, few in number, and clearly communicated so your team and the rest of the company understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and where we are headed. 

You will need to collaborate extremely closely with Marketing and Sales teams so being a team player and understanding different POVs is a must.

About you.

You have a proven track record of building products that customers love and continuously engage with. You’re comfortable solving complex, technical challenges and you hold your own in a conversation with engineering, but you also love working with your UX team, getting involved in customer research and user testing, and debating the pros and cons of a particular design. You are hands on and take full ownership of whatever falls under your remit.  You understand how high-velocity software development teams work, and how engineers think. Most of all, you love solving hard technical challenges to make a difference in the lives of other people, whether they be job seekers, employers or your fellow Indeedians.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a water-tight product strategy and define and analyze metrics that will inform the success of it. 

  • Provide product thought leadership and competitive analysis, especially in the areas of digital consumer loyalty and engagement programs

  • Flesh out ideas with wireframes, mockup designs, performance and benefit estimates and present these ideas for review

  • Work with engineers and designers to define product requirements and then lead those teams to deliver.

  • Collaborate with other teams, some of them remote, to deliver projects spanning multiple teams’ areas

  • Present strategy and progress to internal partners at a senior level, across multiple global locations

  • Bring the voice of the customer to every discussion

  • Understand user needs and generate new feature ideas

  • Build and launch new features

  • Analyze lots of data, including opportunity analysis and test result analysis

  • Use that data analysis to define product vision and future direction by generating new product and feature ideas that will impact the business

Requirements

  • You have at least 2 years proven track record as a product manager, ideally with experience working directly on offers, loyalty or rewards programs.

  • Experience working with direct or personalized marketing is a plus but not essential

  • Outstanding data analysis skills that inform your data-driven business decisions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • You are experienced in creating intuitive approaches to complex problems

  • A track record of developing impactful products based on customer and business needs through research and analysis

  • Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives with ROI, available resources, and timelines in mind.

  • A sense of urgency, ownership and drive to get things done
