Are you a current college student seeking an opportunity that will provide you with invaluable skills, impactful work and real-world experience?  Indeed.com is seeking self-motivated interns to join our growing Finance team.

Our team consists of experienced, motivated, and self-sufficient high performers. You will have strong communication skills, be able to work at a fast pace, and have strong attention to detail. 

This is a great opportunity that touches a variety of departments at Indeed – along with our Finance department, you will have exposure to our Tax, Treasury and Legal teams.  We are looking for a self-starter who can leverage pre-established guidelines to deliver measurable results in a result-oriented environment.


About you.

Responsibilities

  • Drive team productivity by providing administrative support

  • Complete Accounting / Finance projects, as assigned

  • Assist with month-end accounting and reporting, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reports

  • Perform back-end accounting functions, including but not limited to: running of monthly reporting, preparing account reconciliations, organising historical data, etc.

  • Assist with the audit process for all of our International entities

  • Perform all other duties as assigned including administrative tasks.

  • Additional projects and functions as delegated by department management

Requirements

  • Eligible students will have a work placement requirement as an integrated part of their course

  • Internship Program is 7+ months long (start date summer 2020 but is flexible depending on work placement requirements)

  • Internship is full-time, qualified candidates will be available for 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday

  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics etc.

  • Extremely strong analytic, problem-solving skills and business acumen

  • Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Docs
