Our in-house creative agency is a global team of thoughtful, motivated makers who live to tell visual stories. We’re looking for a seasoned, spirited graphic designer to join our growing team and help us tell the story of Indeed around the world.
You’ll work embedded within your country marketing team, offering in-house design support for a variety of brand projects. As a part of our creative agency, you’ll work with other designers around the world, tailoring designs to your local market while driving and maintaining a global brand vision.
You’re obsessed with typography, color, the grid. You follow your favorite graphic artists and design trends with gusto (but your know-how is rooted in classic design principles). You view everything as an opportunity, designing anything from digital ads to print collateral, creative content and marketing presentations with an equal level of enthusiasm and craft. You think strategically to solve business problems with smart, creative concepts.
You’re confident in presenting your work, and feel comfortable collaborating directly with marketing stakeholders to create compelling, on-brand content in your market. You’re a diplomat who can balance creative feedback against business needs to make wise creative decisions.
And, more often than not, you have fun doing it!
Provide world-class marketing design work across multiple mediums on a variety of projects, from small pieces to multi-channel campaigns
Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders in Germany and as well as producers and creative peers and directors internationally
Work with US-based creative team to ensure that country marketing for Germany ladders up to Indeed’s global brand look, feel and tone (without losing local nuance)
Use your good judgment to make wise creative decisions in response to feedback from marketing stakeholders and creative leadership
Develop creative concepts against project briefs
Communicate ideas effectively (in English and German)
Provide print- and/or dev-ready artwork; oversee production of print material when necessary
Prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality design on-time, occasionally under tight deadlines
Has a strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and skill in visual communication, heavily weighted in digital
Maintains a working knowledge of design trends (and when to lean into them)
Demonstrates mastery of typography, color and composition with sharp attention to detail
Is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Is passionate about supporting and evolving a global visual brand
Is driven to take on new challenges and own their work
3+ years of relevant professional experience, such as working with a design firm, advertising agency or internal creative team
BFA/BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field
Adept at designing across various media, with an emphasis on digital executions
Fluent in relevant design software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Invision
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
Experience creating and designing content for social media preferred
Bonus points for: web development knowledge using HTML, CSS, JS; motion graphics experience
Fluency in German and English
