The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Sydney Base Salary Range: 56,000 - 70,000 AUD per year

Your job.

Indeed is looking for a highly motivated professional to assist and support the Human Resources team. 
This individual is responsible for the administrative function of the Human Resources department.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR, be well-organized, detail-oriented and be adaptable to a growing organisation.

  • Conduct new hire on-boarding and day one orientation 

  • First point of contact for Indeed employees, assisting Business Partner team in responding to general employee inquiries

  • File and maintain employee life-cycle HR records

  • Manage change transactions in our HRIS - Workday 

  • Interface with payroll to enter transactions in HRIS 

  • Collaborate with HR Operations on process changes

  • Manage and maintain HR data audits

  • Run and distribute various reports 


About you.


  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • 1 year HR administrative experience is ideal

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

  • Passion for human resources with a can-do attitude

  • Confidentiality a must

  • Workday HRIS experience a plus
