The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Austin Base Salary Range: 64,000 - 82,000 USD per year

Your job.

As an HRIS Specialist for the HR Technology Operations team, you will work closely with HR and the HR Technology team to help drive a variety of projects and initiatives.  The primary focus of this role is to serve as a resource for the ongoing support of Workday HCM, Indeed’s HRIS. 



Responsibilities

  • Provide functional Workday support and escalate to team members when necessary.

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve low-med complexity system/data issues.

  • Provide system and best practice guidance and support to stakeholders.

  • Follow detailed instructions to make system updates.  

  • Collaborate with Functional Leads on issues that may require deeper investigation 

  • Provide support for new functionality by participating in testing features prior to release.

  • Preparation, testing and loading of EIBs into Workday

  • Assist on projects as needed.

About you.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Workday experience 

  • General understanding of Core HCM (Business processes, organizational structure, position management) 

  • Ability to research and resolve issues with minimal direction.

  • Ability to work independently yet collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Intermediate level MS Excel.

  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.

  • Ability to work effectively on multicultural teams across multiple time zones.

  • Ability to work periodically outside of standard working hours to support global regions.
