As a Localization Program Manager you’re responsible for ensuring the success of Indeed’s presence worldwide. You'll combine your strong project and program management skills with your deep knowledge of the localization industry to own the overall health of Indeed's localization programs. You'll provide the support for keeping up with the speed of our international expansion and the complex requirements of our different internal and external stakeholders, and guide us in the timely and successful fulfillment of the company's needs. Your main goal will be to ensure that all localization programs run at their very best.
What you will do
Oversee timelines of more complex projects
Ensure milestones are clearly defined and reached on time
Document progress towards project completion
Facilitate communication amongst different collaborators
Disseminate information to project stakeholders
Evaluate efficacy of project execution and provide action items to improve efficiency
Interface with procurement, FP&A, accounting
Ensure SLA/SLO fulfillment by collaborators (Translators, Reviewers, SMEs, Localization Managers, Vendors) across projects and programs
Generate P&L reports for localization programs, including measuring ROI of localized materials
Monitor and improve key program KPIs (velocity (speed/volume), quality, cost)
Research industry standards, new developments, promising tools/vendors, etc.
Help define and document strategic roadmap for the Localization team
Educate stakeholders on localization programs
Increase adoption of program best practices throughout the company
Identify new opportunities for localization to positively impact other departments' international expansion
Report projects' health and progress to senior leadership as needed
You’re someone who is tech savvy, loves foreign languages, and thrives in a cross-functional environment that includes people from all over the world. You enjoy working as part of a team, are passionate about delivering the highest quality product possible, and do not shy away when it comes to advocating for solutions and sharing ideas for improvement. You have the ability to clarify complicated situations, and bring people together to get a job done, even in the most chaotic of circumstances.
To succeed in this role you'll need to combine both analytical and creative problem-solving skills with your talents as a motivator. We are looking for someone who uses a data-first approach to make decisions, and has experience in fast-paced international expansion.
The ideal candidate has
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Linguistics, Translation, or equivalent experience
4+ years experience in project or program management
Strong globalization, internationalization, and localization background
Extensive knowledge of technical integrations, vendor management, international expansion, and internal advocacy
