The team.

Our Corporate Development team is responsible for driving the short and long term growth of Indeed in tandem with our organic growth efforts. Members of Corporate Development work closely with multiple departments within the organization to identify and evaluate acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities. Every month, over 250 million people count on our company to help them find jobs, publish their resumes, process their job applications, and connect them to qualified candidates for their job openings. Simply put, we help bring more partnerships, products and services inside Indeed that help people get jobs.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

San Francisco Bay Area Base Salary Range: 135,000 - 196,000 USD per year

Your job.

The Chief of Staff office is an integral part of Indeed's Corporate Development organization, and is responsible for driving people, process, and strategy alignment with internal stakeholders. As a Corporate Development Manager on the team, you will spearhead the research and analysis to shape and iterate our strategy and collaborate with leaders in the team to align priorities with internal stakeholders outside of Corporate Development team.  Like everyone else in the Corporate Development team, you will participate in the core work of developing deep knowledge and insights on HR Tech industry.

1. BA/BS degree or equivalent practice experience
2. 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, hedge fund, or equity research in the technology industry
3. Operation or product management experience in a technology company is highly appreciated
4. MBA degree a plus, but not required
5. Knowledge of HR Tech industry a plus, but not required
