Global Learning & Enablement provides our internal clients with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals and be successful in their roles today, tomorrow, and in the future.
We support client-facing functions which include Client Success and Sales, through career development and world-class learning from day one. These teams help transform the hiring process by providing companies an easy and effective way to find the right fit for every hire. Additionally, we collaborate with functions across Indeed, including, Marketing, International Business Operations, Business Intelligence, Legal, Finance, and Employee Development to give Sales and Client Success the knowledge, tools, information, and resources to succeed.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Tokyo Base Salary Range: 8,500,000 - 11,000,000 JPY per year

「We help people get job」というミッションの元、Indeed Japan(インディードジャパン)のSales&CSトレーニングマネージャーという立場から社員トレーニング立案とその推進を国内外の各部門と共同しながら遂行いただく仕事となります。特にIndeed Japanは、Indeedが展開する各国の中で初めてGeneral Manager制度を導入し、よりローカルに権限移譲を行い日本マーケットに即した戦略を、よりスピーディーに判断/実行できる体制になりました。また、2020年7月より日本法人の新社長を迎え、Indeed Japanを新たなステージに引き上げていくフェーズにあります。
実際の研修は国内向けに主に日本語で実施することが想定されますが、関連部署や諸外国オフィスとの情報共有やグローバルで活用されている研修を日本向けに作り込むなど英語での実務も多く発生する予定です。

基本給与レンジは、Indeed でのこの職種の給与の下限と上限を示しています。実際の給与額は、勤務地、経験、実績など、様々な要因に基づいて変動するため、レンジを上回ったり下回ったりする可能性があります。記載されている給与レンジは、Indeed の社員への報酬パッケージの一部です。報酬パッケージには、給与の他に、四半期ごとのボーナス、長期的なインセンティブ、オープン PTO、地域ごとの各種手当などが含まれる場合があります。

Your job.

At Indeed Learning & Development, we work with Sales and Client Success (CS) individuals, teams and leaders to provide them with the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to be successful in performing their roles now and in the future. This role will lead the Japan Learning and Development team and be a business partner to Indeed Japan Sales and CS leaders. The Manager, Training and Development will report to the Senior Manager, Training & Development - Inside Sales & CS and must be able to partner well with additional internal support teams. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.

About you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of trainers and provide coaching, feedback and guidance to enhance their skill set and develop them in current & for future roles.

  • Empower & motivate the team to support the business in achievement of goals. 

  • Partner with Learning Design teams and other L&D managers to ensure all teams are aware of large content updates (including localization and updates made by your team). 

  • Understand local market landscape and needs to appropriately adjust curriculum, programs and content for effective local delivery.

  • Communicate with and develop relationships within the market in Sales & Client Success to identify their development needs.

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to inform training strategy and present recommendations.

  • Plan & prioritise courses, either for self delivery or with the team, based on needs & business impact

  • Develop methods to evaluate program results to continuously improve learning effectiveness 

  • Maintain Indeed product and process expertise to speak to these when delivering programs and to help with supporting the team prioritise & develop programs.

  • Communicate internal changes to products, systems or workflows to your team

  • Supporting the execution of special projects as needed, such as the organisation of department-wide trainings/events

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Training or management experience required

  • Fluent Japanese and English

  • Demonstrate experience leading, coaching and developing a team

  • Experience in large enterprise sales or service role is essential

  • Experience managing multiple competing priorities and projects

  • Strong attention to detail, time management and proven ability to multitask effectively

  • Experience developing and leading a global training program and leading a global team

  • Proven track record of successful training delivery

  • Excellent communication, leadership, training and presentation skills. Advanced oral, written, and presentation skills required

  • Familiarity with screen sharing programs (WebEx, ClearSlide, Zoom)

  • Proficient with office productivity tools (Google Suite)
