Your job.

The Sales Data Strategy team is a part of the Global Sales Analysis team, and is focused on delivering high quality analytical solutions to the broader Sales Strategy and Sales Organizations. A typical day may involve constructing a complicated SQL query to extract millions of rows of business data or collaborating with our Business Intelligence and Engineering teams to drive technical solutions to highly manual processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a data driven environment and is comfortable deploying technical solutions for sales audiences.

About you.

As a manager of Sales Data Strategy, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Build a team of strategists that are familiar with data structures and are business fluent.

  • Improve how we deliver data to stakeholders by empowering users with self serve tools.

  • Collaborate with our Engineering + Business Intelligence teams to align on data standards and principles.

  • Become a subject matter expert with our Company Databases, Data Warehouse, Tableau, and Salesforce.

  • Innovate how we monitor the health of our data structures, tables and data sources.   

  • Direct how our Sales Databases continue to grow by suggesting new tables, metrics, views, etc.

  • Partner with Sales Strategy leadership team to ensure priorities and tasks are being handled.

  • Automate inefficient processes and tools within our team and broader Sales Strategy.

Here are our expectations:   

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative focus such as Math, Computer Science, Economics, etc.

  • You have 5+ years working in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence / Strategy. Analytics, etc.

  • You thrive in a fast paced, rapidly evolving start up environment with the ability to work under pressure.

  • You have experience building visualizations and dashboards through Tableau or comparable BI Tools.   

  • You have experience with SQL, and are comfortable delivering large data sets to stakeholders.   

  • You have demonstrated experience working with Python (specifically Pandas) to automate tasks.

  • You have an exceptional ability to clearly communicate, present effectively, and influence stakeholders.

  • You know your way around a customer relationship management system - specifically Salesforce.

  • You have a structured and data driven approach to business problem solving.

  • You have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to performance and learning new skills.

  • You have 1+ years of management / formal mentorship experience.
