Your job.New Product Commercialization works closely with all New Products at Indeed. Our team is part of the Sales Strategy organization and is responsible for working hand-in-hand with product management to develop, test, and pilot new products, and create go-to-market strategies to drive long term product adoption and monetization. This role will consist of two sets of core responsibilities: competitive analysis and product analytics lead
Own competitive analysis:
Lead competitive analysis across all Indeed’s products and global markets
Maintain consistent pulse on competitor actions and communicate insights to appropriate teams
Identify areas of opportunity for Indeed based on competitive landscape
Be a strategic lead for Indeed’s analytics products:
Work with internal, cross functional teams to determine product vision, use cases, and end state
Help identify which ideas have potential and which others should be revised, iterated or deprioritized
Gather customer feedback and work with product team to determine how to incorporate into the product
Determine monetization strategy and opportunity size of products across markets
Work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Client Service, Finance, Product and Engineering to support Indeed’s new product launch process
Project management for new product launch process and feature changes (e.g., clarifying responsibilities, requirements, timelines for deliverables, interdependencies)
Conduct regular reviews and sales training to position all new products for success
Passion for new product development and launch processes
Strong analytical problem solving skills, attention to detail and project management skills
Experience taking data and driving to action
Strong skills in analyzing data with spreadsheet software (i.e. vlookups and pivot tables)
Bachelor's degree - preferred with a quantitative focus (e.g. Economics, Information Technology, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Client service mentality, willingness to collaborate openly with other functions
3+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Strategy and/or Consulting
Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environments
Experience in the Tech and/or Recruiting / Staffing industry
Experience with sales-force driven business models
