Our mission.

As the world’s number 1 job site, our mission is to help people get jobs. We need talented, passionate people working together to make this happen. We are looking to grow our teams with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for creating the best experience for job seekers.

The team.

We are a rapidly growing and focused product team building the most popular job site on the planet. Every month, over 200 million people count on us to help them find jobs, make it easy to apply, research companies, and connect qualified candidates to their job openings. With product teams in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo, and Hyderabad, we are improving people's lives all around the world, one job at a time.

Your job.

As the Product Manager of Design Systems, you will be building the platform to power the experiences that job seekers and employers use every day.  Your customers are your peers -- talented designers, engineers, and product managers across all five of our tech offices.  You will speak their language and empathize with their needs.  You will track customer adoption and evangelize your product.  The tools your team builds will increase the velocity of quality user interface development, elevating Indeed to an industry leader in visual design and front-end development.

Our product development philosophy is similar to the Lean Startup philosophy. You will create MVPs, prototypes, simple tests to validate ideas and iterate. You will NOT be an armchair Product Manager writing large PRDs and handing them off to the development team (most Product Managers at Indeed don’t even know what a PRD is). You will wear many hats and constantly learn new things on the job.  You will be surrounded by smart, dedicated and nice people  You will be proud of the company’s mission and your product’s impact.

About you.

You are a curious, creative and analytical person, eager to lead a product lifecycle end-to-end, and craft solutions that are fast, relevant, simple, comprehensive, and reliable for users. You may have majored in anything from CS to EE, HCI to Product Design, Economics to Marketing. You have the tendency to master one area while maintaining an interest in multiple areas.

You understand the value that a design system delivers -- to product teams and to end users.  You are excited by the challenge of building something flexible enough to meet the needs of 100 product teams but rigid enough to deliver a consistent user experience to end users.  You have a critical eye for creating highly usable, beautiful, and accessible designs based on industry standards and trends.
