Your job.

Indeed.com is looking for a passionate and inquisitive data analyst who will focus on general analysis and executing large-scale user acquisition programs across the globe. This is a chance for an online marketing analyst to work on a site with 200M unique visitors a month across more than 60 countries and 30 languages. The Quantitative Marketing Analyst will work across numerous departments to help people get jobs by using Indeed. The ideal candidate has experience executing user acquisition channels, working on the website traffic analysis, and building dashboards with Python or the other development language. You will use your Python or related coding skills to build automated solutions for driving visitors to Indeed. You are innovative and resourceful, making the most impact with the least amount of resources. Although you are creative, you are also analytical — data ultimately drives your decision-making process. You are an excellent collaborator, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the success of your initiatives.

About you.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of the paid campaigns
  • Manage and monitor the paid acquisition projects
  • Design statistically sound methodologies around pulling and aggregating data from internal and external data sources
  • Write scripts to automate data processing and other recurring tasks
  • Learn and love Indeed’s data (we have a lot of it).
  • Work across various other internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Data Architecture to define project requirements and research solutions
  • Understand and manipulate Indeed’s data - providing simple solutions to complex problems
  • Add to the team’s infrastructure of algorithms, automation, data mining & quantitative business analytics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Physics, Statistics, or related degree. Master’s degree in an aforementioned field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience with statistics
  • Knowledge of Python or R, and SQL
  • Experience with charting, graphing, or other visualization tools is preferred 
  • Strong math, analytical, and business knowledge
  • Passion for digging into problems and developing simple solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have passions and interests outside of work - you are not just your job
