Indeed is seeking a Support Specialist in Austin, Texas to join it’s Sales Product team.
This business-critical function will work together with a team of specialists who support Indeed’s global Sales organization. The Support Specialist triages issues and requests from all levels of Sales to provide product knowledge, identify issues and interface with Indeed’s product teams to coordinate resolutions.
The Support Specialist will report to the Manager, Sales Product Support and will work closely with other specialists and product experts to find the answers that enable Sales to be successful day-in, day-out.
Be a go-to person for Sales as their product expert and liaison
Form part of the Sales Product Support internal helpdesk team, triaging queue-based escalations from supported groups
Identify real issues requiring Product or Engineering attention and filter out issues that are expected behavior or user error
Adhere to established role metrics and SLAs in handling issues and requests
Identify opportunities to to help align the goals of the Product and Engineering teams with those of Sales.
Be familiar with and track all product updates, changes and tests that could affect Sales or our clients
Look for trends and patterns of requests that show opportunities for the business to innovate in its support of the greater Sales organization
2+ years of experience in a help-desk related function in a professional, business-to-business environment; online advertising, staffing and/or sales experience a plus.
Technical mindset and comfortable with technical conversations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel to Indeed locations
Experience with multidisciplinary teams and projects a plus
Data driven and analytical, consistently looks for better ways to do things
Adaptability (comfortable and able to talk to Salespeople in their language, and to Engineers in theirs)
Strong customer service approach when dealing with end users
Experience with SalesForce a plus
Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
Familiarity with the recruitment-advertising industry preferred
Familiarity with the CPC/pay-for-performance model
