The Global Product Solutions (GPS) Team is responsible for partnering with frontline sales to drive revenue and adoption across IndeedÕs product portfolio, specifically focusing on newer products. The GPS team works closely with Product Commercialization and partner organizations across sales to beat revenue targets and build custom solutions for their customers in the Japan market.

Your job.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and adoption of our growing product portfolio including - Indeed Targeted Ads and newly launched Brand Products.  The role will support our Indeed Japan Salesforce and our customers through planning, positioning and objection handling while providing product technical expertise. You will be responsible for working closely with the JP leadership team on executing product adoption strategy, as well as with frontline sales reps and clients.

 Core role expectations include

  • Assisting sales in identifying leads suitable for each product and proposing product bundles based on the client’s needs
  • Joining sales on customer calls/visits, conducting product demos and assisting in sales pitches 
  • Partnering with the Product Commercialization team to execute product growth strategy and tailor products for the Japan market 
  • Exceeding revenue targets and maintaining a healthy pipeline and accurate forecast of growing business opportunity 

The Global Product Solutions Manager will be aligned with a Market as their New Products lead. You will share the same product goals as the Japan General Manager, and will be compensated according to the market’s quarterly performance.  The role reports to the Sr. Director of Global Product Solutions (based in the US), and will have dotted line accountability into the Japan General Manager (based in Tokyo).

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support sales initiatives to achieve product goals for Indeed Targeting Ads, Branding Products and other new products as they launch to market
  • Cross-train as a product expert for Indeed Targeting Ads and Branding Products
  • Align with Product Sales goals of Indeed Markets
  • Engage sales teams to provide technical product details and limitations throughout the sales process
  • Understand product demand and prepare information to support business development efforts & deployment
  • Lead product line rationalization and market segmentation efforts to increase solution selling efficiencies that support overall Indeed value proposition
  • Conduct regular reviews and sales training positioning all new products for success
  • Help conduct live product demonstrations over the phone, via webinar and Face-to-Face where applicable
  • Help prepare target account lists by product segment to support greater Indeed sales efforts
  • Utilize sales teams to gather market intelligence to help improve product
  • Help position sales teams to identify ideal opportunities and build a pipeline for all new products
  • Help evaluate, build, and manage top of funnel sales pipeline, growing successful client relationships for New Products
  • Provide performance insights for New Products to supported sales teams
  • Provide feedback to the product and engineering team that will improve the platform
  • Help scale processes including lead generation, client marketing, and talent recruiting by persistently uncovering the hiring needs of clients

About you.

  • You have people management experience or have successfully lead groups of people in a cross-functional setting
  • You have demonstrated strategic leadership skills and are comfortable working with roles ranging from senior executives as well to sales partners at all experience levels 
  • You have demonstrated the ability to spot trends, analyze and summarize feedback/data from the field to make recommendations on changes that need to be made
  • You have a proven ability to operate in a large group setting and rollout new products, policies, procedures to groups of people
  • Understand how to strategically and effectively navigate businesses of all sizes and have  experience selling multiple products, product lifecycle knowledge and go-to market strategy
  • You are able to work with senior sales executives to uncover problem areas and put a plan in place to address the issues quickly
  • You have a “can do” attitude, positive, but also realistic and push back
  • Experience in consultative and solution based selling
  • Demonstrated ability for technical learning, customer focus & cross-functional participation
  • Passion to educate and lead, direct management experience is a plus 


  • 5+ years of experience selling in a sales-driven environment
  • Experience in Ad-tech or Online Advertisement industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in consultative and solution based selling
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts in a hurry
  • Demonstrated ability for technical learning, customer focus & cross-functional participation
  • Passion to educate and sell
  • Experience selling to or supporting large organizations
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities in a startup environment
  • An interest in building upon an existing successful track record in sales
