The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Your job.

Indeed is seeking a Sales Strategist to join its growing Sales Strategy team within Sales. The Sales Strategist partners with Sales Leadership, Marketing and Product teams to identify opportunities to accelerate client base, revenue growth and efficiency. The Strategist will be working heavily with our Global Accounts Program and Product Commercialization teams to find insights that can optimize the way these teams are able to work on client opportunity and accelerate revenue!

  • Build and maintain tools to help Sales Leadership monitor performance
  • Ability to create complex models relating to goals and productivity
  • Research data quality issues, identifying resolutions and updating reporting as required
  • Drive data quality through continuous process improvement.
  • Support business initiatives by drawing insights from our data, by scoping, designing and executing market/segment specific insights and analyses
  • Ad-Hoc presentation and report writing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with Finance, Product, Service teams) to refine recommendations and develop joint action plans 


  • Bachelor's degree with quantitative coursework (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Management) or equivalent practical experience; MBA a plus
  • 3+ years of work experience in sales analysis, strategic planning and / or consulting
  • Working experience with programming languages, especially for data manipulation (e.g. Tableau, SQL, Python, R, JavaScript etc) 
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing platforms, solid testing principles and experimental design
  • Strong understanding of both statistics and regression required
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), experience analyzing large data sets with quantitative modeling experience
  • Project management skills and experience with process evaluation and design (lean principles) 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Client service mentality, adaptability and willingness to collaborate openly with other functions 
  • Experience with fast-paced, sales-force driven business models
