The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Your job.

As an Investigations Analysts on the Quality Operations team, you are responsible for protecting the integrity of Indeed’s products by working in a team dedicated to reviewing content, determining if it is at Indeed’s standards, and actioning if necessary. You will research and understand the various business entities that post to Indeed and are able to discern if their practices are in the job seeker’s best interest. These actions mold the future of Indeed’s content and enhance the quality of the site.

As an ideal candidate, you are comfortable when asked to perform in-depth analysis and research independently, and are able to communicate your findings in a clear and succinct way. Your decisions are always backed by evidence and data. You are undaunted by developing, communicating, and implementing changes that may be large in scope and impact. You have experience collaborating across many teams, organizing group projects, scheduling meetings, and following up on action items. You have a knack for understanding the bigger picture when making decisions. 

  • Conduct investigations limited in scope on content to ensure that it is in line with our current policies and standards. This will include reviews of companies, job types, industries, sources of content, and business practices
  • Participates in process and data analysis and identifies workflow bottlenecks.
  • Recommends structured processes and best practices for workflow consistencies. 
  • Develops knowledge of our internal tools, guidelines, policies, workflows, and processes.
  • Identifies process inconsistencies utilizing strong knowledge of Search Quality policies and processes
  • Identify and clearly communicate with appropriate teams within Indeed to help identify and resolve quality issues limited in scope
  • Knowledge of Indeed’s policies; with an eye on flagging gaps in policy for our policy team to edit or create 
  • Evaluate opportunities in current processes and workflows to improve and become more efficient.
  • Utilize tools and team best practices to discover content quality issues on the site
  • Engage with your fellow team members to develop knowledge and best practices; constantly strive to edify yourself and your team
  • Prioritizes impactful and relevant projects with oversight from your Team Lead, develops referenceable processes for the future. 
  • Ensures that job-seekers get the most out of their job search experience by supporting and communicating search quality policies and standards
  • Asks questions, seeks out answers, creates solutions all while working independently
  • Consider the job seeker experience in every facet of your work
