Your job.

As an Operational Process Analyst in our Austin Reserve office, you will help shape the future of content on Indeed and ensure the continued growth of our job seeker experience. Under the direction of your Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies to proactively drive improvements to the operations that help ensure a quality job seeker experience on our site. This will involve driving new operational processes, testing them, and moving them to automation or outside vendor solutions. Collaborating with policy, communication, international, and data analysis teams, you will guide and monitor Search Quality Operations stake in the job seeker mission as Indeed grows with the ever-changing human resources industry.

As an ideal candidate, you are comfortable conducting autonomous research and are undaunted by developing, communicating, and implementing changes that may be large in scope and impact. You have experience collaborating across many teams, organizing group projects, scheduling meetings, and following up on action items. You are unabashed in advocating for your work, and you support your proposals with good data. You challenge the boundaries of your role, and you encourage your teammates to do likewise.


  • Contribute to the constant work of improving the job seeker experience on Indeed

  • Develop your knowledge of our diverse products that surface in the various job seeker experiences we provide on our site

  • Take that knowledge and develop operational strategies, queues, and tasks to ensure those experiences maintain the high standard we expect for our job seekers

  • Take your metrics and test them against other teams and internal products to develop full analysis of their impact on Indeed’s job seeker experience

  • Use existing measurement methods (and develop new ones) to assess the quality of the operational processes you own

  • Leverage internal and vendor resources to achieve your goals

  • Contribute to achieving teamwide goals

  • Advocate for the job seeker in all you do

About you.


  • Experience with data querying, data analysis, and using data to drive operational processes

  • Experience in developing operational tasks, queuing processes, and quality measurement

  • Experience working in cross-functional environments; holding others to task to ensure efficiency and quality goals are met

  • Self-starter, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Capability to validate and explain trends and results as compared to outlined success metrics

  • Must be organized, positive, proactive, and results-oriented, with excellent communication skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
