The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 22.59 - 29.33/hr USD

Your job.

As a Senior Search Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for helping to oversee quality moderation workflows, while also flexing to support tangential projects as needed. Your team will own and work these workflows in-house until they are ready to be outsourced, and will continue to provide ongoing support and quality checks for our vendors. Additionally, there will be a component of navigating and establishing workflows and appeals for new processes. Your overall goal will be to ensure Indeed’s quality standards are embedded within our workflows, and that these standards are being clearly communicated to clients. Our Search Quality Operations team is focused on improving the quality of Indeed search results and being an advocate for the job seeker. 



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality output for our Moderation workflows (perform quality checks to ensure workflow accuracy, assist with training and workflow documentation, provide feedback on trends and inconsistencies).

  • Be part of a team of workflow SMEs and act as a liaison with internal Quality Operations teams as well as Partner/Vendor Operations as needed.

  • Develop and iterate on strategy for existing and new workflows.

  • Provide support to vendors on any questions or problems they may have.

  • Gather feedback from vendors on quality related workflows and share this information with other internal Search Quality teams.

  • Review existing operational processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Use data analysis to inform your decisions and the direction of your team.

  • Act as a mentor and go-to resource for other team members. 

  • Flexing into new projects and acting as a generalist beyond your initial scope of work.

About you.

Requirements:

  • College degree is preferred

  • 3-5 years experience working with vendors and supporting scaled content moderation.

  • Experience working with Zendesk or a similar support ticketing system is preferred. 

  • Extremely flexible, willing to scope out and take on new tasks.

  • Self starter, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

  • Must be organized, positive, proactive, results-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of SQL to write queries to help organize team’s data and dashboards.
