Your job.

As a Search Quality Technical Analyst focused on Fraud Data & Reporting, you will work closely with members of the Search Quality Risk Operations team to build measurement systems and improve operational efficiency which will ultimately help more people get jobs. As a member of the Search Quality Risk Operations team, you are responsible for protecting the integrity of Indeed’s products by working in a team dedicated to reviewing content, determining if it is at Indeed’s standards, and actioning if necessary. You will aid the Risk Operations team in their mission of protecting the jobseeker by uncovering trends in malicious activity and pinpointing opportunities for improvements in defensive measures. You should be comfortable when asked to perform in-depth analysis and research in a competent and efficient manner. You are able to present your findings in a clear and succinct way. Once the analysis is complete, you are undaunted by developing, communicating, and aiding in the implementation of a plan that may include sweeping product or policy changes.


Responsibilities:


  • Create dynamic reporting reflecting current fraud trends for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Act as the SME for all Risk related reports, and be able to demonstrate thorough understanding of trending data and anomalies

  • Design and build risk and fraud measurement systems and data visualizations based on large sets of manual review data

  • Support the evaluation of workflows and automation solutions through data analysis to expedite and improve precision of manual processes

  • Contribute to team goals and metrics

  • Boost effectiveness and productivity of those around you

  • Juggle multiple tasks while retaining a strong attention to detail

  • Interface with all clusters of the Risk Operations organization to understand the problem sets and associated data for all risk related focus areas

About you.

Requirements:


  • Working knowledge of data storage principles

  • Degree or exceptional background experience in business intelligence, math, statistics, or computer science preferred

  • Thorough knowledge of SQL to write complex, highly-optimized queries across large volumes of data

  • Experience with data visualization and building automated dashboards

  • Confident in ability to query various datasets on an ad hoc basis and incorporate those results into reporting

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration

  • Outstanding data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven business decisions

  • Demonstrate leadership and gain respect across functions/teams

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PHP) preferred
