The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

New York City Metro Area Base Salary Range: 50,000 - 70,000 USD per year

Your job.

The Communications Specialist, Business Communications is a charismatic, innovative, creative individual responsible for developing and executing dynamic and strategic internal Product and Resource driven communications. This person has the ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders within Client Success, Sales, and across other cross-functional departments to collaborate and streamline communications, and develop resources for Client Success and Sales to better understand new products, processes and resources.  This role is also focused on engaging Client Success and Sales in their interactions with Indeed’s Products and the BOSS Support team through transparency and education. 

 

This position will report to the Manager, Business Communications, and partner with our Senior Communication Specialist and Team Lead to manage and implement communication strategies. 

 

We are looking for a strategic thinker with proven communication skills, and technical/product knowledge. This person must be a brilliant writer with a creative and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities.


Responsibilities:

  • Write product updates for Business Communication updates in French, including Internal Knowledge Base articles and technical product update emails

  • Collect feedback and collaborate with stakeholders in Montreal to ensure we are meeting all localization expectations

  • Maintain understanding product update nuances specific to Canada to ensure translations include market-specific content

  • Work with Business Communications media on adding subtitles to training and launch videos

  • Partner with Business Operations leadership, Global Product Sales & Success, Team Lead Business Communications, and Senior Communications Specialists to understand upcoming initiatives and changes.

  • Utilize strong writing skills for drafting FAQs, talk tracks, and targeted communication. 

  • Track CS & Sales engagement and host focus groups to make feedback-driven adjustments to increase engagement

  • Collaborate with Localization on processes and best practices

  • Ensure a timely translation of communications regarding outages, product issues, and errors that impact the employer experience.  

  • Provide strategic input on messaging and positioning to ensure client and team communications are compelling and aligned with our desired tone.

  • Develop engaging communications and resources that drive awareness of key initiatives (e.g. ITA, Hiring Events), product updates, and inspire Client Success & Sales to take action.

  • Assist with the execution of special projects and initiatives as needed



About you.

Experience/skills required:

  • Fluent in French Canadian and English required

  • 2+ years of experience in Client Success, Sales, or a related area required, 5+ years preferred

  • Professional translation experience preferred

  • Strong interest in cross-functional collaboration

  • Interest (experience a plus!) in other modes of communications such as video, tutorials, web design, etc.

  • Display strong and confident presentation skills with the ability to field questions on the fly

  • Proven track record of thinking outside the box and exhibiting departmental needs

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications

  • Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • A strategic thinker with proven ability to achieve results through teams

  • Dynamic, charismatic, confident personality with the ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance

  • Ability to build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize
