Indeed.com is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to oversee our Enterprise marketing strategy and execution in the UK. This is an exciting new role and lies at the heart of a new and expanded set of responsibility as Indeed continues to build out its UK marketing activity. This role is expected to make a meaningful change in the way we engage with this audience.
The Senior Marketing Manager will help us to identify new ways to reach decision makers within the UK’s biggest companies so that they are aware of Indeed and understand our core role in helping them to find and recruit the people they need to be successful. As we continue to expand our product offering to other solutions, this role will also ensure that we can communicate the value of these offerings to Enterprise clients.
The successful candidate will have strong prior experience of creating and implementing enterprise marketing plans within a corporate environment. You will understand how to use B2B marketing techniques to cover high-touch engagement through small roundtable meetings, content-led hospitality events and online content events such as webinars. You will also be familiar with marketing automation techniques, using lifecycle emails to nurture, convert and retain a B2B audience.
You will also have experience using B2C activity to identify and reach key audiences through online and offline marketing techniques, including online advertising, media partnerships, industry events and industry partnerships to reach corporate decision makers and stakeholders who should be aware of Indeed and understand the essential role we play in their success.
Indeed has a large marketing department split between a UK team and global specialists. In many cases this role will not be directly implementing activity but will be working with specialists in different areas to guide them on UK needs and ensure their activity supports the UK plan. However, you will also need to be able to roll your sleeves up and work operationally when required to create email copy, webpages and other material.
Indeed uses data to make decisions and to track the success of our activity so the ideal candidate will be at ease in using data and insight to create plans, propose suitable budgets and to understand the impact of the activity in impacting key metrics.
The success of this role will also depend on an ability to work closely with our Enterprise Sales teams and strategic planning functions. This will involve getting their guidance on priorities and opportunities and turning them into suitable marketing plans.
Create, own and implement the UK Enterprise Marketing plan
In partnership with functional marketing specialists in the UK and beyond, ensure effective implementation of a plan to support UK goals, taking advantage of existing activity and tweaking it where relevant and enhancing that activity with additional requirements for the UK market
In partnership with other Enterprise-facing roles in the UK marketing team, identify the best activities for Indeed to attend across our own events and external events
Oversee lifecycle marketing for the Enterprise audience in the UK
Working with our internal Events team, ensure attendance at suitable external events to reach Enterprise stakeholders
Working with our media and online marketing teams, ensure plans are in place to reach decision makers and to communicate the value of Indeed
Working with our data teams, market research function and external data partners, continue to use data to identify the best prospects and to enhance what we know about this audience
In partnership with Sales, identify the best prospects and ensure that we are focused on those audiences to grow revenue with existing accounts and nurture prospect accounts
Build on existing external partnerships to ensure we are reaching the most appropriate audience
Ensure we have a pipeline of content to communicate with different audiences, distributed through the most effective channels
Minimum of 8+ years experience working in B2B marketing roles within an Enterprise environment, preferably for a leading brand
Experience using a wide range of B2B and B2C marketing techniques to engage and convert corporate audiences
Comfortable operating in a complex matrix environment to secure outcomes that deliver strong business impact
