The Senior Director of Agency Accounts is a strategic, hands-on position. You will lead a national team of managers and their direct reports while being responsible for accelerating the growth and success of Indeed’s US Agency channel.
This role is a mix of growing external relationships and joint partnerships within the industry; setting and aligning the regional vision and strategy; and effective collaborating and leading internally to drive the strategy forward.
Externally, you will act as a key player and spokesperson for Indeed within the talent acquisition agency and media agency landscape, growing our partnerships and shared visions as the industry evolves over the next few years. A high degree of emphasis will be placed on strategic partnership, education, and unlocking new paths to growth with our agency partners. You will focus on strengthening long-term relationships with our agencies, driving scalable product adoption and business growth across the broader portfolio of agency-managed accounts. Your knowledge of media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shape how your agencies new and existing businesses grow.
Internally, you will work collaboratively with sales, product, sales strategy and marketing teams to ensure we are meeting client and partner needs while executing on behalf of our agency partners.
This position reports to the VP of National Accounts and Agency at Indeed.
Proven ability to drive growth, revenue and new product goal attainment in a channel management organization
Ability to create and lead complex initiatives to deliver scalable partner development as well as internal organizational improvement
Responsible for attaining growth and product adoption goals across the entire agency channel
Own the regional business strategy to meet/beat new product adoption goals
Track record of building executive-level relationships and consult on long-cycle partnerships with senior agency leaders
Develops, builds and executes large scale agency deals to bring Indeed product suite to market via senior executive engagement at the agency level
Develops sales/regional plans and responsible for both strategic and tactical planning on a quarterly and annual basis
Sets a standard of excellence not only in sales results but in coaching and leadership development
Demonstrated ability to manage through metrics and improve the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches in a data driven way
Develops and implement best practices for partner interaction
Support the team in executing the Agency development vision
Demonstrated success developing and leading other leaders
- 10+ years agency and/or channel sales experience, 5+ years in digital media
- Agency or marketing technology provider experience a plus
- 5+ years in management and managing leaders
- Challenges the status quo and confidently drives innovation and change for maximum impact on both partners and the Indeed Agency Development organization
- Skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of Indeed solutions to our agency partners
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data in to partner value
- Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Relationships with top marketing decision makers at talent acquisition agencies are a plus
- Successful as a leader who can drive adoption of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes etc
- Up to 50%+ Travel
