We strike the right balance between rapid development to vet new ideas and maintaining high engineering standards for our core technology. Our teams have the autonomy to solve their respective business and technical challenges, within the context of the Indeed Security mission and objectives.
This Senior Manager, Security Assurance and Operations position fills a principal role on the central Security team. As a manager of managers, you will be directly responsible for security efficacy and will report directly to the VP, Head of Security. You will define clear Objectives and KPIs as part of the central Security team and assist the security leadership within each business unit in measuring and meeting security objectives. This position will drive a culture of security within the company.

You present technical security information in the form of business outcomes.
You have experience leading organizational change.
You are data-driven.
You are an integral part of the security senior leadership team and help develop and communicate team strategy.
You create written and verbal communications to executives that provide clear guidance on strategy, timeline, required investments, and expected results.
You champion building security in, not on.
You proactively identify and collaborate with stakeholders.
You prioritize business outcomes and focus efforts on the best ROI, and key strategic areas.
You have experience defining OKRs and KPIs and using those to define and report on security efficacy.
You have experience leading enterprise-level vulnerability management, threat intelligence, continuous monitoring, application security, and data loss prevention.
You have experience positively influencing business decisions.
You may have held a title such as Senior Security Manager or Security Director and may have experience as a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) or CSO (Chief Security Officer).
You are creative and react to roadblocks with novel solutions that support proactive planning.
You have experience leading security teams of 30+ people, including team professional development.
You have the ability to seamlessly transition between technical domains such as: cloud, network, endpoint, and systems security.
You have experience with one or more of the following: SOC 2, PCI, JSOX/SOX, BSIMM, NIST CSF, NIST 800-x, CIS, ISO 2700X, COBIT, etc.
