The team.

Our Corporate Development team is responsible for driving the short and long term growth of Indeed in tandem with our organic growth efforts. Members of Corporate Development work closely with multiple departments within the organization to identify and evaluate acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities. Every month, over 250 million people count on our company to help them find jobs, publish their resumes, process their job applications, and connect them to qualified candidates for their job openings. Simply put, we help bring more partnerships, products and services inside Indeed that help people get jobs.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 130,000 - 188,000 USD per year

Your job.

The Strategic Partnerships team is part of the Corporate Development organization within Indeed. As a member of the team, you will work collaboratively across functions in a highly matrixed environment to launch new partnership opportunities, with the goal of driving growth and engagement with Indeed’s products and services. You provide the management team with the insights to enable sound and quick decision-making. You understand the industry landscape and harness it to manage partnership opportunities. You possess strong analytical skills, and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think creatively and work independently. 


  • Design the processes and systems needed to enable the growth and scale of our partnerships program, including our reporting and partner management infrastructure.

  • Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.

  • Lead flawless execution against project plan, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are aligned.

  • Improve or formulate new programs from strategy analysis and design, to launch.

  • Develop program collaterals, requirements, benefits, compliance audits, and administrative oversight.

  • Establish the cadence and structure through which the partnerships team engages with internal stakeholders.

  • Work with external stakeholders to optimize performance of existing partnerships, and develop frameworks to replicate performance at scale.

About you.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years in project management, partnerships, or operational roles preferably in technology companies.
  • Comfortable with data, and willingness to question the accuracy of data and assumptions.
  • Demonstrated ability to credibly coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders, and of successfully managing multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent results by working independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfortable presenting to senior audiences.
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally and with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with SQL, and willingness/aptitude to continue learning.
  • Experience working with APIs
