The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Your job.

As a Senior Search Quality New Initiatives Analyst, your role will be flexible and multi-functional. You will work closely with Search Quality and external teams to communicate, train and flag potential quality concerns as projects grow roots and help support these new products while advising on Search Quality best practices. This requires cross-team communication and working with both aggregated (off Indeed) and hosted job (on Indeed) content.


Part of your role will be to build relationships with teams outside of Search Quality such as Client Services, International Operations, Legal, and Product across Indeed and learn about brand new products still in their infancy. You will have an expert understanding of Search Quality guidelines and principles and establish our team as a resource, while also functioning in an advisory capacity for these new products. 


Another main function of this role will be to serve as an incubator for new workflows and operations within the team and supporting other teams. Your daily core work might be changing frequently, so you should be very comfortable with change. This work will be heavily project-based and may rotate and adapt often. You will be expected to provide thoughtful feedback and make recommendations, as well as set both granular and high-level goals related to the work. You will act as a go-to resource for the rest of your team, by building trustful relationships and leading by example.

About you.

Responsibilities:


  • Has expert knowledge of our internal tools, guidelines, policies, workflows, and processes so that you can act as a go-to resource for Search Quality.

  • Offers innovative solutions for unique problems outside of normal scope and is able to step outside of the boundaries of their day-to-day role.

  • Able to assess the impact of projects and solutions with an eye for scalability and future vision/scope.

  • Meets frequently with and provides recommendations, feedback, and solutions to senior leaders across all teams. 

  • Self-generates projects and can see these through to completion with little-to-no oversight, including helping to guide team members in working on their projects.

  • Acts as a liaison between Search Quality and other teams by establishing yourself as a subject matter expert.

  • Builds relationships on the basis of information gathering while also building awareness around Search Quality and the job seeker experience.

  • Ensures that job-seekers get the most out of their job search experience by supporting and communicating search quality policies and standards.

  • Provides process and workflow improvements to the rest of the team, and actively seeks out new efficiencies. 

  • Exhibits great time management by simultaneously working on special projects and normal workload.


Requirements:


  • BA/BS required and 2-4 years of relevant work experience OR Advanced degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience OR 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Extremely detail-oriented, with critical reasoning and sound judgment

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Able to execute advanced Boolean search queries and analyze data trends/sets

  • Able to shift gears and free up bandwidth as the business dictates

  • Passionate about digging into problems and finding innovative solutions

  • Eager to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Adept at time management, self-directed, proactive seeking out new tasks and projects, and constantly driven to improve your area of responsibility

  • Able to learn new tools and provide constructive feedback on ways to improve our current suite of tools
