The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 152,000 - 192,000 USD per year

Your job.

You are joining the Hiring Events team which is a product within Indeed’s job advertising ecosystem that helps employers hire more efficiently by letting jobseekers RSVP to an interview in lieu of applying to the job, effectively skipping directly to an interview. The product has recently “exited” from the internal incubator and is currently the fastest growing product at Indeed. 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be an integral part of the growth, strategy, and execution on all facets of the product, and you’ll help shape the future through various efforts including: 

  • Helping to commercialize our product and features with Indeed’s global sales team through on-going sales trainings and workshops

  • Leading the development, design, and A/B testing of new features

  • Working directly with engineering and UX, leading development sprints and triage

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, client success) in offices around the world

About you.

You're someone who wants to see your work making a difference every day. You have high standards for both yourself and your colleagues. You believe that companies should create a personal relationship with their users through messaging. 

You’ve built products consumed by software engineers (e.g. platforms, services, APIs, SDKs) and have simultaneously delivered the right mix of reliability, scalability, and features that delight your users. You understand how high-velocity software development teams work, and how engineers think. Most of all, you love solving hard technical challenges to make a difference in the lives of other people, whether they be job seekers, employers or your fellow Indeedians.


Responsibilities: 

  • Understand the job search and candidate targeting ecosystem, markets, competition, and user requirements 

  • Launch new features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.

  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Sales, UX, and other cross-functional teams


Someone who can meet these expectations should have:

  • Outstanding data analysis skills

  • Ability to make data-driven business decisions

  • Worked previously with sales teams to commercialize products
