The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Seattle Base Salary Range: 192,000 - 242,000 USD per year

Your job.

Indeed is seeking an experienced product manager to help build and implement a global product strategy for the Social Impact program. In collaboration with the Director of Social Impact you will design, oversee and drive our product focus. 

The Social Impact team at Indeed is committed to using our technology, insights, expertise, and networks to break down bias and barriers in hiring so everyone gets a fair shot. The goal is to help 1M job seekers with barriers secure employment by 2023. One of the key pillars of the Social Impact strategy is to work to find new ways to leverage our current products and data as well as create new products and features to help job seekers who face barriers to employment around the world. 


  • Collect data and insights to deeply understand and identify job seekers with barriers to hiring

  • Build out and maintain the roadmap and product strategy for the social impact team

  • Work with and influence teams across Indeed to gather ideas and understand how our products can be leveraged to solve hiring challenges for job seekers with barriers.

  • Work with Business Intelligence and Product Science to measure successful hiring of job seekers with barriers through social impact products

  • Promote a culture of testing, measurement, knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team as we identify and pursue the most promising impact approaches for Indeed

About you.

* 5+ years of consumer mobile or internet software product management experience.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Deep understanding of web development technology.

* Outstanding data analysis skills.

* Proven leadership skills.

* Ability to make data-driven business decisions.

* Ability to navigate and influence large data driven product organizations
