The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Hyderabad Base Salary Range: 5,240,000 - 7,860,000 INR per year

Your job.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to become a critical part of a newly formed Payments Risk team in Hyderabad.


Help Indeed stop payments fraud before it happens. Enable internal businesses to tailor experiences to each customer according to the risk they pose. This means fraudsters experience friction, but honest users do not. By drawing on insights from our global network of employers, publishers  and job-seekers, you allow Indeed to scale, win, and help people get jobs in the digital era.


Basic Qualifications

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate and present everything from early concepts to full product launch plans to your team, as well as to cross-functional teams, stakeholders and executives

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, MBA preferred


Your Duties

  • Be the product champion who provides an end to end view of customer experiences on Risk products and architecture to help communicate the value thereof to multiple audiences including product/business community & executives.

  • Create data driven hypotheses and design experiments around them. Monitor key product health metrics and drive insights in partnership with analytics

  • Review, investigate, and respond to product stakeholder inquiries related to claims of fraud such as identity theft and payments/card fraud and identifying trends for creating risk models

  • Research payment risk trends and proactively reach to business partners to validate suspicious activity and prevent losses.

  • Work closely with internal and external partners to monitor and manage fraud incidents.

  • Research and analyze target markets, competitors and customer groups, maintain strong relationships with thought leaders and industry analysts to enable short and long term product development planning

  • Leverage Business Intelligence tools for providing support with data analytics, data mining, ad-hoc investigations, reporting, and data quality assessments.

  • Be the product evangelist and partner closely with business stakeholders and engineering leaders

  • Effectively communicate strategies and trade-offs up to senior leaders and down to development team

  • Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into actionable improvements for the platform

About you.


What makes you a strong fit:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management for a tech company

  • Familiarity with Payments or Credit Risk/Payment Fraud/Chargebacks a huge plus.

  • Experience creating and/or working with Machine Learning models to make business decisions is a strong plus

  • Skilled in cross-domain modeling, problem solving, analysis and reporting.
