The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentive Plan units, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits. 

Austin Base Salary Range: 22.59 - 29.33/hr USD 

Your job.

As a Senior Search Quality Operations Measurement Analyst you will work closely with other members of the Search Quality team and product owners to build quality measurement systems and improve operational efficiency which will ultimately help more people get jobs. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable building, breaking apart, iterating and starting over on projects and concepts. 


As an ideal candidate, you have a creative and flexible mindset and can provide data measurement ideas based on Search Quality guidelines. You take pride in your ability to solve problems, collaborate and effectively train people to be able to generate high quality manually reviewed data which would serve to provide a deeper understanding of workflow efficacies and product quality. You find joy in analyzing data and present it to various stakeholders in an actionable form. 

You have a strong acumen to understand stakeholders' objectives and building metrics that are important to measure quality and performance.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide guidance and coaching to more junior Operational Analysts in the spaces of manual data collection, data analysis and reporting, vendor management.

  • Establish and preach good practices for training documentation

  • Work with your manager on identifying pain points and prioritization of individual and team projects 

  • Make vendor recommendations after assessing their quality and consistency and work with vendor management teams to ensure that we are collecting the most accurate data possible.

  • Create scalable solutions to answer questions about the jobseeker experience and share best practices with the team

  • Facilitate strategy, business requirements and provide recommendations for data collection, analyze and compile trends along with technical analysts and empower other partner teams to make quality business decisions.

  • Establish relationships with product teams and act as a liaison for Search Quality 

  • Design, build and implement large-scale measurement systems and workflows

  • Lead projects and proactively propose improvements to measurement models designed to mirror user experiences with our public products across all markets

  • Identify procedural pain points and propose/implement improvements

  • Validate data by performing experiments, test cases and analyzing the results

  • Communicate key information from a data set by means of data visualization

  • Proactively make recommendations to  technical teams in regards to technical teams and make recommendations for new tool creation

  • Identify projects and new initiatives and effectively multitask between multiple priorities 

  • Advocate for and prioritize what is best for our jobseeker population

  • Develop a strong understanding for Search Quality operations and principles

  • Be a go-to resource for the team

About you.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field like business operations, vendor management, information systems or computer science, physics etc and 2-4 years of experience OR 4-6 years relevant work experience preferred 

  • 2+ years of experience in guidelines documentation and prototype building

  • Strong acumen in coaching and mentoring technical staff

  • 2+ years of experience working with vendors and contractors

  • 2+ years of experience with scaled operational work 

  • Knowledge of quality measurement systems and principles

  • Experience working on international markets or products

  • Ability to write basic HTML, SQL and use dashboard tools

  • Familiarly with Python/R
