Software Engineering internship at Indeed lasts 10-12 weeks, during which you will work with a mentor to apply foundational computer science knowledge and principles to solve real-world engineering challenges. These projects are not just challenging, they are critical to our business and impact millions of job seekers around the world. You will work on a small team with other engineers building innovative products using a variety of back-end and front-end technologies. You will also have the opportunity to share your experiences with other interns from top computer science and engineering programs in Asia Pacific. Our hope is that you will also have fun collaborating together on smaller scope projects and build a few friendships along the way.
We also want you to experience our engineering culture, which is focused on empowering great engineers to accomplish great things. We look for engineers who are passionate about coding, love intellectual challenges, are eager to learn, and want to work with a variety of technologies to solve interesting problems. We believe in autonomy, responsibility, and fast iteration. Our engineers work together on small teams to design, develop, test, and launch products.
You will get the opportunity to dig into massive datasets available at Indeed to analyze, inform, and develop solutions. We are addicted to data; we use it to make product and architectural decisions, as well as improve the results generated by our ranking and recommendation algorithms. Your objective will be to find simple, fast, resilient, and scalable solutions using back-end and front-end technologies that are best suited for the job. This includes open source, as we embrace open source technologies and contribute some of our core software back to the community.

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Enrolled in a full time degree program and returning to it after the internship.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
