The Employer Experience Studio is an interdisciplinary team of interaction, visual, and brand designers, technologists, writers, and researchers. Together, we’re defining the future of the Indeed product experience. We’re big-picture thinkers who know how to work in the trenches. We lead design for the end-to-end employer journey, helping Indeed craft experiences that are human, empathetic, hopeful and trusted. This is the most exciting time to be a designer at Indeed and we’re seeking truly awesome, unbelievably talented makers to join us.


  • Interact with senior stakeholders to understand the business opportunity

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to ensure design contributes to seamless and continuous development and deployment

  • Partner with the user research team to make decisions guided by the needs and expectation of our users

  • Use quantitative studies to understand business impact and measure progress

  • Understand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience

  • Contribute positively to design discussions by creating sketches, wireframes, process flows, and prototypes

  • Apply Indeed’s design language and patterns in final user interfaces

  • Facilitate and participate in design sprints, design jams, hackathons, or workshops

  • Coach and mentor junior UX designers

Required Skills

  • Passion for translating complex problems into intuitive solutions

  • Deep, demonstrated experience in interaction design

  • Fluency with user research and usability testing methods and tools, both remote and in-person

  • Experience working as part of a geographically distributed team that includes internal and external stakeholders, product management, engineering, product marketing, and customers

  • Strong user advocate

About you.

  • 8+ years of hands-on product design experience, with an accompanying portfolio that demonstrates designing end-to-end product experiences.

  • Experience using Sketch, Balsamiq, Axure or other interaction design/prototyping tools

  • Relentless attention to detail.

  • Natural entrepreneur.

  • Proven ability to collaborate flawlessly across functional areas and geographic locations

  • Proven ability to support UX research.

  • Bachelor Degree Required, a degree in design, psychology, business, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field or equivalent experience.
