The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Long Term Incentives, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Austin Area Base Salary Range: 89,000 - 123,000 USD per year

SMB Hiring works on the core job posting and search products that employers and jobseekers see on Indeed.com. SMB Hiring is focused on reducing the friction between connecting employers with job seekers.
Develop go to market approaches, new product/feature strategies, and operationalize the products to decrease customer effort and increase revenue capture opportunities.
Proactively identify and resolve Sales, CS and commercialization issues, including those impacting other business functions, before they arise.
Lead competitive analysis that results in developing product offerings and feature recommendations we can take to market and drive recommendations to conclusion
Develop data-driven insights to resolve challenges that arise.
Create systems and processes to collect the right data
Become the go-to thought partner for critical partner team (sales, CS, finance, etc.) to develop new systems and processes that interact with the product.
Identify and prioritizes unmet customer or internal needs, and develop solutions to meet these - whether within existing products or through new offerings and identifies opportunities to develop cross-product efficiencies
Apply prior experience to develop a deep understanding of industry dynamics, competitors, customer & user segments, with knowledge of the needs (met or unmet) and incentive structures affecting each group.
Analyze data with spreadsheet software (i.e. vlookups and pivot tables) and database query experience (e.g. SQL); including Python and Tableau where appropriate
Demonstrate facility in using all available resources and data to drive complex insights and become a recognized thought partner for determining how best to support decision-making with imperfect data
As part of recommendation building, proactively solicit appropriate leadership input on important issues; understand when, and to whom, communications are required
Able to succinctly and convincingly articulate own point of view
Success in this role requires the ability to independently prioritize and influence broader organization to make progress on important product commercialization issues.
This includes recognizing opportunities and takes action to improve overall (cross-product) go-to-market strategy and efficacy.
As a senior individual contributor in the broader team, become a trusted advisor to peers and colleagues who helps more junior colleagues achieve their professional aspirations.
Demonstrate ability to scale knowledge throughout the organization by generation and maintenance of comprehensive and effective tools and channels
Communicate with clear, succinct messages that provide leadership direction on decisions required and frames issues with appropriate context to speak to the audience’s point of view
Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Operations, Product, Strategy, Consulting or other related function
3+ years of experience partnering with a Sales or Customer Success team in a professional environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Graduate degree preferred - MBA, JD or post graduate, etc.
3+ years of experience working in the Tech Industry - AdTech, Digital Media and/or Recruiting / Staffing industry preferred
2+ years of experience using Python or SQL
2+ years of experience using either Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or Tableau
Bonus: Experience with sales-force driven business models
