The team.We are a rapidly-growing, fast-moving, highly-capable UX team building the most popular job site on the planet. Our designers work in Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Tokyo and Hyderabad, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering to deliver simple solutions to the real-world problems that job seekers and employers face hiring and getting hired. Most importantly, our team is expected to deliver results, and be able to demonstrate the impact our changes have on our business.

The Employer Experience Studio is an interdisciplinary team working to elevate design across Indeed’s product experiences tailored for Employers. Our team includes interaction, visual, and brand designers, design technologists, content writers, and UX researchers, working across the globe. Together, we’re defining the future of talent solutions. We’re crafting experiences that make finding the right talent more human, empathetic, hopeful and trusted. We lead design for small, medium and enterprise solutions; helping businesses connect effortlessly with candidates who match their values and have the skills required for the opportunity. We’re working to narrow down the world of possibilities to a personal selection of meaningful connections that gets each Employer closer to finding the match, regardless of their size, location or how specific the opportunity might be.

Your strategic impact within your first year.
Design the next generation of employer experience products
Execute on a 6 month, 1 year and 2 year vision for employer experience that connects job seekers with employers.
Develop solutions that consider how the employer experience integrates key aspects of our full portfolio of products for talent solutions to deliver a personalized experience.
Partner with user research to make decisions guided by the needs and expectation of our users.
Use quantitative studies to understand business impact and measure progress.
Develop and define employer experience standards
Partner with Marketing and Content to collaboratively shape and deliver our messaging for employers.
Create standards for expressive moments in our employer product experiences (email, landing pages, wordpress templates, and bespoke digital experiences) as well as guidance for how we show up in our functional experiences (forms, flows, etc.)
Codify the building blocks and content hierarchy of the employer experience.
Use quantitative and qualitative methods to uncover our user patterns, behaviors and intent; translate these findings into design patterns for personalizing the employer experience.
Develop frameworks and guidelines to address how related products can be seamlessly integrated across the employer experience.
Mentor your product design team for the core employer experience
Champion a studio culture of creativity, ideation, collaboration, critique, demos, curiosity and most of all courage to boldly design and build ideas meant for disrupting our industry.
Mentor and help interaction and visual designers within your team and the broader Indeed design community to create world-class product experiences.
Facilitate and participate in design sprints, design jams, hackathons or workshops.
You’ll have experience with global brands and/or world-class agencies:
8+ years of product design experience with an accompanying portfolio.
4+ years of shipping web applications and native app experiences.
Relentless attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate flawlessly with multiple teams (Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing).
Ability to support UX research.
Bachelor Degree Required, a degree in design, psychology, business, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field or equivalent experience.
